Yu-Gi-Oh! and the ‘Best Sports Game’ of gamescom 2014 & 2015 comes to Cologne
Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. has announced its highlights for this year’s gamescom, as the publisher showcases Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME, and the eagerly awaited PES 2017 at the Cologne event.
With the show opening to trade and press on Wednesday, August 17th and to consumers on Thursday, August 18th at the Koelnmesse GmbH Exhibition Centre in Cologne, Germany, KONAMI will offer consumers and industry influencers the opportunity to access some of the biggest titles in KONAMI’s portfolio.
KONAMI will showcase its extensive range of Yu-Gi-Oh! titles as well as proudly premiere the world’s first consumer hands on for PES 2017 via dedicated booths.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME is the best selling trading card game in the world with over 25 billion cards sold. It is a game of strategy, where players create individual Decks of cards collected from Structure Decks and Booster Packs. Two players engage in a duel while using cards that represent powerful Monsters, magical Spells and surprising Traps. Duelists with well-constructed Decks, dominating monsters, solid strategy and good fortune are the victors in the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG. Konami Digital Entertainment B.V. is the exclusive licensee and rights holder to the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG in Europe and Oceania.
PES 2017 is founded around the ‘Control Reality’ ethos, elevating the award-winning gameplay to a new level via incredible new control elements and a new standard of visual realism, without sacrificing what made PES successful in the first place – playing a match with your friends. The industry-leading Fox Engine once again powers the series to reach new heights, with KONAMI looking to its focus on first touch, the making and receiving of passes, and AI that adapts to counter the way users play to elevate the game’s acclaimed realism. Visitors can get hands-on with the latest football simulation and experience the control reality concept for themselves, a world-premiere for the public!
More information will be announced in the coming weeks.
